Paul N. D’Apolito has been practicing law in the State of New Jersey for 21 years. His current practice is primarily transactional, focusing on residential and commercial real estate, tenancy contracts and disputes, general business matters, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Directives and estate administration. Paul also has past experience in Chancery Court and litigation matters, prerogative writs and representation of municipalities.

Paul is one of the most respected real estate attorneys of the Jersey Shore, as he is often retained by other lawyers to handle their own purchases and sales. Clients are also referred to Paul through realtors and other attorneys with whom he has successfully worked to resolve even the most complex transactions.

Paul’s clients return to work with him preparing their Wills and other necessary estate planning tools including Advance Directives for Health Care and Powers of Attorney.

In addition to serving individual clients, Paul represents corporate clients including RWJ Barnabas, Inc., for whom he serves as outside counsel. Paul manages and advises on guardianships, lease and sublease agreements, tenancy disputes, real estate matters, wage garnishments, subpoena responses, municipal court and law enforcement matters.

Paul also has extensive prior experience serving municipalities and their residents as Assistant Township Attorney (Wall and Little Silver), as Public Defender (Little Silver) and as covering Municipal Prosecutor (Holmdel and Colts Neck).

Paul’s success is a product of his philosophy of a strong work ethic and providing personal attention to each client to meet their legal needs to obtain their results in an efficient and professional manner.

A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Paul graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1987. He earned his BS from Castleton College in Vermont in 1991, and his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law in 1995. During law school, Paul had the distinction of serving on the Moot Court Board and placing in the National Appellate Moot Court Competition at the University of Minnesota.

After earning his J.D., Paul returned to Monmouth County for his Judicial Clerkship with the Honorable Robert W. O’Hagan, J.S.C. Paul resides in Monmouth County with his wife and son.
